Description
Ben Braddock, a struggling actor and playwright, is celebrating his fortieth birthday. His friends hire a psychic off the internet for the party who makes two predictions. First, that Ben will win the lottery and second, that he will probably die before his next birthday. Ten minutes later, Ben wins a million on the lottery. This is such a fun read that hooks you quickly. The dialogue is fabulous, with a hilarious pace that feels like a drunken stumble toward an underdog's dream. Highly recommend!
